  • Most Heavy Duty Diesel Pickup Trucks have catalytic converters that are 5-6 ft long all by themselves - need the longer 12 ft Strap.  However most Diesel Passenger Cars/Vans have catalytic converters that are really no larger than regular  gasoline engines, so you can use the 7 Ft Strap
